Ostensibly to honor the 75th anniversary of the US highway system in
November, I took a 1300-mile road circuit through western and central
Kansas*, for the sole purpose of getting
photos of current and historic endpoints (can I join the roadgeek
club now?) Imagery appears on new pages for US

incidental photos here.
The US 77 page was concurrently
updated with a photo of its north end, and the pages for for US 77, US
83, and US 281 were also changed
such that viewers seeking info on their southern termini are now
referred to my new Brownsville
TX page. The new photos from Brownsville also enabled me to
create a new page for US
96 [I].
* I've gotta say this someplace: while enroute through eastern Colorado at around 4:30 am, I saw the Aurora Borealis for the first time! If you're not into astronomy, you may not know that it's rare to see the "northern lights" that far south... but I heard that people as far down as Arkansas saw them during this particularly intense period of solar disturbance.
