US 89 is represented by the purple line beginning at the port of Piegan MT. Its current southern terminus is in Flagstaff AZ; the red line south from there to Nogales is the historic extent of US 89. US routes are not signed through Yellowstone National Park, so I've indicated the implied route of US 89 with a dashed line.
US 189 is the blue line from Jackson WY to Provo UT. The state of Utah does not sign the segment from Heber City to the Wyoming line; that part of the highway is shown in red.
