Map Gallery: Greater Grand Forks ND/MN

There was a devastating flood through here in 1997, which resulted in significant changes to this map during subsequent updates. On the detail map, note the ND state highway marker (the one with a silhouette of an indian chief's head): I try to use highway symbols that closely resemble the markers one would actually see posted on the road itself... but not always exact replicas, because they also need to be legible to the map reader.
