Greater Omaha NE/IA

This was one of the first maps for which I had complete control over production. Everything was originally hand-digitized - the sources were cobbled together from various paper maps. Since it wasn't geo-referenced, new roads are still added manually. So I'm actually not too proud of it anymore, but it's still my baby: I've been updating it annually since 1993. It's a huge project - I can't even hazard a guess as to how many months of my life have been spent working on it. The map is at a scale that doesn't allow for the labeling of all roads, but as you can see on the detail, I still try to include all unique roadnames. A partial field-check cleared up some long-standing discrepancies that I found when comparing my info to a legacy street directory.
