(Latest map revision: 16 July 2008)
The map below shows all known endpoints of current and historic US routes.
Darker dots represent endpoints of which I have no photos. Black dots are the more important endpoints (those that lasted for 10 years or more), and red dots are less important (less than 10 years).
Yellow dots represent endpoints of which at least one photo is available on this website. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good photo, nor does it mean that all perspectives of that terminus have been photographed. And even if those criteria have been met, things can still change - things such as signage, route designations, road alignments, etc. So a lighter dot doesn't necessarily mean I have complete or up-to-date photos of that location.
Clicking on any state will link you to an interactive map of that state. All of the endpoints shown below are also marked on the interactive maps, and on those maps you can zoom in as much as you wish... all the way up to full street-level detail. You can also switch to aerial-photo mode. However, I do recommend a high-speed connection to view the maps linked below... if you don't have one, you might prefer to use the static map index instead.
Using the map below, if you're trying to fit your cursor on one of the smaller states, you may find it helpful to know that Delaware is grouped with Maryland, and all six New England states are grouped together.
